I guess it has a lot more to offer to a person who has recently moved here .Living here almost 50 years I was familiar with most of the suggestions in the book . It seemed also heavily saturated with restaurants .I would have added places like the large cat sanctuary down by Louisburg or the cool flight simulator at the museum down at the old airport .
We put this book in our guest room for the holidays, and every guest said how cool it was to see all the things they could do while they were in KC. As 30-year residents, we even found things we didn't know about! Well worth the purchase!
Thought the book was a bit top heavy with restaurant reviews. Could have expanded the area around Kansas City to include other attractions within a short drive.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday because we are moving to Kansas City. Such a fun idea so that we can explore the city!
Kindle version is defective, and only contains first few pages. I had to return it as a result, but then tried again a few months afterwards. Same problem, so I had to return it again. Too bad, because it looks like a book that we would very much enjoy. I hope that someday the technical problems are resolved.
